Career Highlights: A perennial contender in the ACC Celebrity Golf Championship, Jack Wagner is one of America’s most popular soap opera stars, playing the brash and daring sea captain Dominick Marone on CBS’s daytime show “The Bold and the Beautiful” since 2003…He was nominated for an Emmy in 2005 for “Outstanding Lead Actor”…Wagner also was nominated for an Emmy for his role as popular Frisco Jones on the daytime drama “General Hospital” which he starred in for several years…Although, he is still most recognized for his notable role as Dr. Peter Burns on the popular Fox series “Melrose Place” from 1994 to 1999…Wagner received rave reviews for his portrayal of Tony in the National Touring Company production of “West Side Story”…He jumped on the entertainment scene by launching a highly successful recording career with his gold hit, “All I Need”…Wagner has recorded five albums including his most recent CD a few years ago entitled Dancing in the Moonlight of which he wrote most of the 12 songs including the single “Going Back Again”…Wagner has starred in several movies made for television and also hosted the Miss Universe Pageant twice (1998 & 1999)…He has previously starred on Broadway as the title characters “Jekyll & Hyde”...Wagner is one of only five players who has played in all 22 celebrity tournaments in Tahoe dating back to 1990…He finally broke through winning the 2006 American Century Celebrity Championship…A tournament favorite, Wagner has posted 15 top-10 finishes in the tournament, including finishing second twice (last year and 2003)….Wagner also has played well on the Celebrity Players Tour through the years with multiple victories including the 2002 Mellon Mario Lemieux Celebrity Invitational, 2001 Dodge Celebrity Invitational, 1997 San Juan Celebrity Invitational and the 1995 East Austin Youth Classic at Barton Creek…He was introduced to the game by his father at age eight…He won the Missouri State Junior Golf Championship his junior year in high school…Wagner also has captured numerous club championships at Bel Air Country Club in Los Angeles.
