Career Highlights: A 10-year National Football league veteran quarterback, Neil Lomax earned All-Pro honors in 1984 and 1987…His 82.7 career percentage passing rating ranks him in the top-10 all-time in the NFL…He still holds several season and game passing records with the-then St. Louis Cardinals…He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1997 and the Oregon Sports Hall of Fame in 1993…During his four years at Portland State University, Lomax was one of the most prolific passers in NCAA history…At one time he held more than 90 NCAA Division 1-AA records and is still the only quarterback to throw for seven touchdowns in one quarter… Lomax was MVP of the 1981 Senior Bowl and finished seventh in the Heisman Trophy balloting that same year…He retired in 1990 and had total hip replacement surgery the following year…Currently, Lomax serves as president of ProMax Event Management Team, which operates a number of events benefiting local charities, including Young Life and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes… Lomax has played in all 20 Celebrity Golf Championships at Edgewood Tahoe (1990-2009) and has posted four top-10 finishes.
