Career Highlights:  One of the most durable and most consistent punters in NFL history, Jeff Feagles is the All-Pro punter of the Super Bowl Champion New York Giants…A 20-year NFL veteran, Feagles, who has been with the Giants since 2003, was playing in the first Super Bowl of his career (at age 41 is the oldest player to play in the big game)….Feagles called “tails” at the coin toss which the Giants won and paved the way for a 9:59 opening drive, the longest in Super History culminating with a 32-yard field goal by teammate Lawrence Tynes…Prior to joining the Giants, Feagles played for Seattle (1998-2002), Arizona (1994-97), Philadelphia (1990-93) and New England (1988-89)….Since entering the NFL with the Patriots in 1988, he has not missed a single game…On November 27, 2005 Feagles broke the NFL record for consecutive games played with 283 (previously held by Minnesota lineman Jim Marshall who played from 1960-79)…Feagles’ record continues standing at 320 at the end of the 2007 NFL season…Feagles also holds numerous other NFL records including most career punts (1,585), most career punts inside the 20 (508), and most career punting yards 65,793… Known for utilizing the “coffin corner” punt, Feagles played in the Pro Bowl following the 1995 season…Feagles played college football at the University of Miami where he won a national championship with the 1987 team…He was recently inducted into the University of Miami Sports Hall of Fame this past February…Feagles has worked with the Muscular Dystrophy Association in his hometown of Phoenix, where he has run a celebrity golf tournament since 1991…The tournament raises hundreds of thousands of dollars each year for Phoenix-area families affected by neuromuscular diseases.
