Career Highlights:  One of the NFL’s premier athletes at the defensive end position, Jason Taylor is a six-time Pro Bowler and All-Pro selection four times….He received the distinguished Walter Payton Man of the Year Award in 2007…Taylor is the all-time leader in defensive touchdowns scored by a defensive lineman with eight defensive touchdowns (three on interception returns and five on fumble recoveries)…He enjoyed one of his finest seasons in 2006 with 13.5 sacks, 10 forced fumbles and two interceptions that were both returned for touchdowns…Taylor was awarded with the NFL Defensive Player of the Year Award that year… He also is a two-time NFL Alumni Association Defensive Lineman of the Year and the NFL Alumni Association Pass Rusher of the Year…He has won the “NFL Defensive Player of the Week” Award seven times…Taylor is the Dolphins career record holder for sacks (117) and fumble recoveries (26) and fumble recoveries for touchdowns (5)…Drafted by the Dolphins during the third round of the 1997 NFL Draft (73^rd overall), Taylor holds Dolphin team records for most career touchdown fumble returns and most career touchdowns by a team lineman...He was selected to the All-Mid-American Conference first team during his junior and senior seasons at the University of Akron …He also earned a varsity letter with the Zips’ basketball team…In July of 2004, he established the Jason Taylor Foundation with a mission of “supporting and creating programs that facilitate the personal growth and empowerment of South Florida’s children in need by focusing on improved health care, education and quality of life”…He also hosts the annual Seminole Tribe of Florida Jason Taylor Celebrity Golf Classic…Taylor has visited Iraq, Kuwait and Germany to visit troops during USO tours…Taylor also received recognition for competing on the 2008 ABC reality competition program, Dancing with the Stars.
