Career Highlights:  His combination of speed, power and elusiveness made Marshall Faulk one of the most exciting players in the game of football…In his 12-year NFL career, he earned seven Pro Bowl invitations…He posted seven 1,000-yard rushing seasons, 38 100-yard rushing games, three 200-yard rushing games and eight 100-yard receiving games in his career …He was the first player in NFL history to gain 2,000 yards in four consecutive seasons (1998-2001)… In seven seasons with the St. Louis Rams, he set team record for touchdowns (84) and gained 11,030 yards…Faulk ranks fourth in NFL history with 136 touchdowns and ninth in rushing yards (12,279)…He led the Rams offense that went on to victory in Super Bowl XXXIV over the Tennessee Titans…Faulk also led the Rams to a 14-2 record in 2001-02 and played New England in Super Bowl XXXVI…In 2001 he led all NFL running backs with a combined 2,247 yards (1,382 rushing and 765 receiving) and scored an NFL best 21 touchdowns and 128 total points, even though he missed two games due to injury…Faulk earned Offensive Player of the Year honors three consecutive years (1999-2001) and finished second in NFL MVP voting to teammate Kurt Warner in 2001…He captured MVP honors in 2000…Faulk set a new standard for total yards from scrimmage in 1999 with 2,429 yards breaking the record previously held by Barry Sanders…A three-time consensus All-American at San Diego State, he dedicated $500,000 to his foundation to help St. Louis children’s charities and also contributed $2,000 for every touchdown he scored to the Marshall Plan, the fundraising vehicle of his foundation…Faulk currently is an analyst for the NFL Network’s NFL Total Access.
